Take in the peaceful atmosphere of Todi and delight your taste buds with a delicious Porchetta tasting at an off-the-beaten-path local farm.

9:00am: After breakfast, you will meet Mary Angela to head to Todi, one of the most charming and elegant hilltop towns of Umbria.

9:30am: Once in the heart of the city centre, you will meet your historical guide, who will take you on a beautiful walk around the town. You will be fully immersed into an idyllic atmosphere where Medieval and Renaissance art combine. You will enjoy the breathtaking views overlooking the Tiber river valley and you will explore Todi's most iconic places.

Finally, you will finish at the breathtaking Chiesa della Nunziatina which is also called the Sistine Chapel of Todi because of its magnificent ceiling frescos.

12:00pm: You will drive to the outskirts of town and plunge into the natural beauties of Todi’s countryside. This area, in fact, can be considered the most picturesque part of Umbria’s green heart where many farms and authentic small family run food factories are located.

12:30pm: You will stop at a well known food factory where Alessandro, the owner, and Massimo, his right-hand man, who will give you a warm welcome to his property.

They will walk you through his facility where you will learn more about Porchetta making and you will be fully immersed in the absolute peace of nature. Finally, a light lunch will be served and you will be pampered with a mouthwatering platter of genuine products including the famous Porchetta.

A crunchy and moist boneless pork roast, Porchetta’s meat is white and delicate on the inside, crispy and golden on the outside. Since Alessandro is extremely passionate about his work, he will show you all of the secrets behind Porchetta roasting. Finally, food will be nicely paired with a tasty glass of local wine.

4:00pm: End of tour and farewell to Mary Angela.
